Annie the Wonder Dog

Annie and her owner Capt Jim Elliott hail from the Anna Maria Island Area of Florida. Annie has been specially trained to swim live bait to the wade fisherman in her charter group. Capt. Elliott's boat has been custom rigged with a swim platform just for Annie.

On May 22nd, Robert Grant, Sr. fought and successfully landed a huge Tarpon weighing 115 pounds and measuring 6 feet in length.
The fish was caught off the coast of Anna Maria Island in the Gulf Of Mexico and took over one hour to land.
At 82 years old, Bob Grant is one of the oldest anglers to have successfully landed a Tarpon of this size according to local fishing guide Matt Ercoli. The entire battle was filmed and photographed for web broadcast on the .The huge Tarpon was safely released unharmed into the Gulf Of Mexico.
